Peace Circuit
Conflict, Rule of Law
& the Human Dimension
An independent archive exploring how human behavior shapes conflict, peacebuilding, and decision-making.
Conflict is a constant in human life.
It unfolds in communities, institutions, and legal systems, shaped not only by rules and structures, but by the people who interpret, apply, and operate within them. Understanding conflict requires examining the human dimension—how perception, stress, experience, and judgment influence decision-making in moments of tension and consequence.
Peace Circuit brings together the archive of the Think Peace Podcast, the NeuroPeace series—including the edited volume Neuroscience & Peacebuilding—and Brain Waves, a collection of short videos drawn from select conversations.
The podcast archive and video collection will be added over time.
Together, these works examine how human behavior shapes conflict across contexts, from peacebuilding settings to legal systems and other formal institutions where decisions can carry significant consequences for individuals and communities. They explore the human and institutional conditions that influence trust, peaceful dispute resolution, and the rule of law.
Across these contexts, this work asks:
• How does human behavior shape conflict across systems?
• How can destructive conflict and violence be curbed?
• What happens to judgment under stress?
• What strengthens the rule of law—and where does it strain?
